OUR HISTORY AND EXPERIENCE
Resort properties have symbiotic lives of high season prosperity and low season
struggle. Gemini Resorts Management, with decades of seasonal experience, brings
profitable balance to these peaks and lulls. Their veteran insight smooths these
fluctuations into well-timed transitions. Founded in 2006, Gemini is a joint venture
with KSL Resorts. This union provides the national sales and marketing strength
of KSL with the unparalleled expertise of Gemini, noted for its ability to create
and maintain distinctive identities for smaller properties.
Gemini’s strength lies in crafting each client’s dreams into a unique property brand,
then implementing necessary legal, financial, operational and marketing elements.
Once the project is completed, a property’s success and reputation is maintained
through meticulous and customized resort management. Gemini excels at employing
personnel with the same passion for what they do; staff who accept authority and
responsibility on behalf of guests and owners.
PHILOSOPHY
Gemini strives to insightfully advise an owner in discovering an unparalleled niche
for his property, whether in the planning stages or in a previously failing venture.
Rather than having a Gemini brand, they seek to enhance the distinctive qualities
of an individual property and use these assets to unify its development. Innovation
in difficult situations to create balance and success is what they thrive on.
THE GEMINI MOTTO
THE SENIOR EXECUTIVE TEAM
Years of exceptional resort management unite in a diversified Gemini team, providing
an optimal management resource. When not working, they share a common passion for
family and the alpine environment in which they live.

Stan Cope, President
Stan has amassed 35 years of knowledge about managing the tremendous occupancy demands
and fluctuations of seasonal resort properties. He knows that summer and winter
require different approaches and cannot be marketed or managed in the same fashion.
Stan’s forte lies in guiding resorts in defining uncommon niches, and in managing
them through fruition into reputable properties with longevity and returning guests.
He has led the redevelopment of the struggling Vail Mountain lodge and Spa to financial
success. He is currently assisting the Sixth Street Station development in Crested
Butte through the planning and the entitlement process. Stan is also advising the
new Solaris Project in Vail through pre-development and development stages in preparation
for a smooth opening in 2010. Stan takes pride in placing the right people in the
right roles to create the ultimate resort product: personal guest service.
